I’m Not Finished - Devotional

I have found myself in many positions. Position where fruit was easily produced and positions where it seems nothing works. I have felt on top of the world and ready to fight. I have also felt completely defeated and wanting the throw in the towel, but I'm not finished.

What if God treated me the way I treat my faith?

"I GIVE UP!" instead He says "I'M NOT FINISHED"

Philippians 1:6 "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ"

I'm so Glad he never gives up on me! The work he is doing in my life is not finished. Sometimes asking God to renew the joy of my salvation is the only thing I can do, and I am so thankful he hears my heart's most quietest whisper.

Sometimes God has you in positions and places that you don't always understand the reasons. Your waiting for answers and your just wanting to move on, but there is always fruit that can be produced and provided.

Palms 51:12 "Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; And uphold me with thy free spirit."

No matter how dry the desert might be that you are walking through, there is water. No matter how high the mountain your climbing is, there is rest. No matter how cruel the battle is, there is healing.

Palms 18: 35-36 "Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip."

One day I will say "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." I'm not finished!
