The Girl In The Antique Shop

I grew up in antique shops, garage sales, and rummaging through someone else’s story. Scrunched over boxes of forgotten names captured in a photograph, I was able to slip into the scene for a split second. I wanted to know the story of these people, the reason behind the expressions on their faces, because I felt they were important to remember.

My name is Lorynn Hunt, a 25-year-old personal journalist who never really knew she was. I am an old soul; in fact, close friends call me “Old Soul,” and I will forever answer to it. After continually gravitating towards older generations, I realized how natural it was for me to want to know more about those I met. Storytelling is at the heart of my life. Whether it is through pen to paper or through the lens of my camera, I feel a responsibility to continue the narrative.
